• The UC Child Care Center is in need of volunteers to read to the children (all ages 3 months-years) or participate in other activities, depending on their interests, during the hours of 9:00am – 11:00am and/or 3:30pm – 5:30pm.   The UC Child Care Center is a non-profit organization focused on children and families and specifically helps students at UC financially afford daycare through scholarships to the center.

• Leave No Child Inside of Greater Cincinnati will host a lecture and book signing with Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods.  The event will include an expert panel discussion, moderated by Thane Maynard of Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, on ways to reconnect children with nature and an Information Fair with over 30 organizations.   Panelists include: Christopher Bolling, MD of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital; Connie Brockman of Cincinnati Nature Center; and Debbie Gardner, of Survive Institute.
