National Underground Railroad Freedom Center

We are excited to announce that the Junior League of Cincinnati has been selected as the 2017 Community Honoree for the Duke Energy Children’s Museum Difference Maker Awards for our work in pediatric oral health through our GrinUp! project.

We are honored to be recognized with many great individuals, organizations, and efforts, including our RefugeeConnect partner STAR (Students Together Assisting Refugees) at Walnut Hills High School, and to join past Community Honorees including the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, the OneSight Vision Center at Oyler School, PNC Grow Up Great, and our own JLC Sustainer Darlene Kamine, Executive Director of the Community Learning Center Institute.

Junior League of Cincinnati leadership and members would like to express our gratitude for this recognition and our admiration of all honorees working to make a difference in our community. To learn more about the Difference Maker Awards and all honorees, click here.
