The JLC was honored to host our spring fashion show fundraiser at The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. This education center and museum of conscience, opened in 2004 on the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati; since then, more than 1.3 million people have enjoyed the rotating exhibits that highlight the plight of all groups on their journey to freedom and equality. Rooted in the stories of the Underground Railroad, they illuminate the true meaning of inclusive freedom, which aligns to our efforts to support diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging within our organization and the greater Cincinnati community. We were excited to offer our members a unique look at this space and invite you to visit the museum with your friends and family.
Our largest fundraising event of the year featured appetizers, an open bar, vendor pop ups, silent auction and a dynamic fashion show that showcased some of Cincinnati’s best women’s, men’s and children’s boutiques.
