Renée Grace Bridal has signed a year-long sponsorship at the highest level offered with the Junior League of Cincinnati

The Junior League of Cincinnati (JLC), a non-profit committed to improving the Greater Cincinnati community by stimulating change and empowering women through the direct efforts of dedicated volunteers, and Renée Grace Bridal, a Cincinnati-based wedding gown designer, announced a new sponsorship agreement that will position Renée Grace Bridal as the League’s Empowerment Lead Sponsor, the highest sponsorship level the JLC offers.

The new sponsorship structure was launched at the start of the 2023-2024 League year, to focus on giving organizations and companies a chance for multiple points of exposure to the network of 750+ female members of the Junior League of Cincinnati. As the League’s Empowerment Lead Sponsor, Renée Grace Bridal will benefit by being positioned prominently as a partner of the JLC. The sponsorship also allows for meaningful engagement with members of the JLC.

Benefits of this exclusive sponsorship include name recognition on the League’s website, at all League meetings, events and fundraisers, on social media, the blog, and on printed materials and reports. They were also featured as the highest sponsorship level for the JLC’s annual Tour of Kitchens fundraiser, will have the opportunity to volunteer alongside League members, attend the JLC Annual Meeting, and present at one of the JLC’s monthly General Membership Meetings.

“This sponsorship is a great partnership opportunity for both the Junior League of Cincinnati and Renée Grace Bridal. Our members range from their 20s to their 90s, and many are in the season of life where they are planning weddings, for themselves, or their daughters or granddaughters. Renée Grace Bridal was a great fit for the JLC not only because we have a large demographic of women who are their target clientele. Their values align to our focus area of strengthening women’s and children’s environments. We are also proud to support Teresa as a local woman-owned business in the Cincinnati community,” shared René Robers, president of the Junior League.

“As a native of Cincinnati, graduate of the University of Cincinnati and a female business owner employing women it was clear that the values of the Junior League to be a catalyst for lasting community change and empowering women for leadership, aligned with the values of Renée Grace Bridal,” shared Teresa Eklund, owner of Renée Grace Bridal. “It is a core driver for us to empower women through fashion. Empowerment can come through employment, supporting anti-trafficking work or helping a woman feel amazing and beautiful on her wedding day. By supporting the Junior League of Cincinnati we feel that we can go beyond our reach and help to change Cincinnati for the better. We are excited to be partnering with the Junior League of Cincinnati.”

This generous sponsorship will empower the Junior League of Cincinnati to continue its mission of advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training, in addition to furthering the impact of the League’s current programs and partnerships. Over half of the JLC’s operating budget, which supports their programs and training events, is funded by proceeds from major sponsors and fundraisers. The JLC offers over 30 training sessions annually to their 750+ members. Training ranges from leadership soft skills and community board fundamentals to fundraising & donor relations and personal health and wellbeing. More than $20,000 is invested annually in training their members. Year-long sponsorships like the Empowerment Lead Sponsorship also strengthen the JLC’s ability to make an impact in the lives of those they serve, as they commit financial and volunteer resources to community projects. The Empowerment Lead Sponsorship with Renée Grace Bridal will allow the Junior League of Cincinnati to continue to develop women to do a world of good.
