The Junior League of Cincinnati is committed to improving our community by stimulating change and empowering people through the direct efforts of our dedicated volunteers. Our members are global in complexion and perspective. Partnerships with the community strengthen our ability to make an impact on the lives of those we serve.

Training Women in Civic and Professional Leadership

Approximately 30 training sessions are offered annually to our 800 members. Training ranges from leadership soft skills and community board fundamentals to fundraising & donor relations and personal health and wellbeing. We invest more than $20K annually to train our members.

104 Years of Community Support

Forty-three nonprofits in the Greater Cincinnati area were started by the JLC. Every 3 – 5 years, we select a new project to start or accelerate through with volunteer support and funding. For the last three years, our partner has been the Family Nurturing Center, focused on child abuse prevention, including $75K in grant money.

Annual Fundraising Events Fuel

The Junior League of Cincinnati raises funds to accelerate our community projects and training. Two-thirds of our $350K annual revenue is earned through these sources:

• Member dues and donations
• Sponsorships
• External donors
• Two major annual fundraisers
