New Member Project: Little Black Dress Initiative

Did you know that 1 in 3 Cincinnatians live in poverty? The New Member Class has been working hard, diving into the harsh realities of poverty by immersing in a Poverty Simulation, reading stories, and completing research. Through empathetic conversations and engaging in their Design Impact curriculum, they have been building stories to tell during the Little Black Dress Initiative during the week of February 24th.

In addition to a social media campaign, New Members are raising funds and items to support St. Vincent de Paul. The New Members are looking forward to a week of events – and hope the general membership can join in!

Ways to Support LBDI…

  1. Donate money.
  2. Donate items. A donation bin will be set up in the Columbia Center lobby for the entire month of February. Drop them off at any time! Amazon wishlist here.
